Conferences on Trauma and Spirituality
In 2011 and 2012 the conferences „Über-Wunden-Trauma, Genese und Spiritualität“(Overcoming wounds – trauma, recovery and spirituality) took place in Bad Herrenalb. They were organized by the “Förderkreis für Ganzheitsmedizin Bad Herrenalb e.V.”(The Society for the Promotion of Holistic Medicine in Bad Herrenalb).
The conference provides a variety of interesting forums with competent speakers, fascinating lectures from a wide range of perspectives and numerous opportunities for exchanging ideas in a relaxed setting e.g. at the bookstall. The spa town Bad Herrenalb situated in beautiful countryside is in itself well worth a visit.
I was invited to both conferences as a speaker; in the afternoon I gave a workshop on The Healing Power of Singing and in the evening I led a session for all the conference participants and other interested people on Singing and Dancing. The evening singing was accompanied by Ulrike Johannsen on the guitar and harp. The following gives some impressions of the singing evening with approximately 200 participants.
